"While being an older hotel, we were pleased with the cleanliness and upkeep. It felt old world plush. We knew from reviews the beds would be hard (and they were) but we slept very solidly. We loved our balcony although the weather turned abruptly cold the second the sun went down. We arrived after there had been flooding earlier in the week, but it did not affect us in any way. The hotel also provides parking facilities, which is a big plus if you're driving. One of the best aspects is its location. It's just a short walk from the train station, making day trips to Milan super convenient — only €9 return and about an hour's travel. Additionally, the Città Alta, Bergamo’s historic upper town, is within walking distance and absolutely worth spending a day exploring. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was reliable throughout the stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is a solid choice for both leisure and business travelers."
