"We waited two hours in the rain to finally receive code for access. Was told to be there at 4:00, which forced us to hire driver for $500. Nobody ever met us, so the driver expense was a waste. Wonderful Italy was booking agent, and they were not wonderful I stayed in two other hotels on this trip, and I gave great reviews. I am not one to give a bad one, but this was terrible. "

"The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. "Exceptional service. The staff are extremely kind and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the the area and provided us with great recommendations. They provided us shuttle service to the town over where we went to their restaurant. Great food! Overall, highly recommend this hotel. "

"Pure magic! We loved the property so much that it was hard to leave to explore Lake Como. Amazing beach bar and cabanas with excellent service. Complimentary kayak and paddleboatds. The front desk was beyond helpful and so patient going out of their way to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. We’ll be back. Also should note buses in the area don’t run on time and a car rental would be challenging with the super narrow windy streets. "

"liked nearly everything though took one star off for only having one very small, slow lift. I do realize though it isn't easy to install modern larger lifts in a historic building I also took 1 star off for a lack of sunshades in the pool area - there wasn't very much shade from trees and with temperatures up to the mid thirties there were only 2 sunshades!"

"We stayed at Hotel Bazzoni in Tremezzo and had the most fantastic stay. The location was perfect with Lake Views and directly across from the Ferry port. Our room was modern and fairly spacious. We relaxed at the pool. The breakfast was lovely. The bar was the best part. The staff were lovely and in particular Victoria who made the most outstanding cocktails. We had a cocktail in the grand hotel and returned to our bar as Victoria’s cocktails were far superior ⭐️ "
