Very nice stay with a great view. House is decorated nicely. Host Rachele is also very kind lady and very interactive. She was very helpful to give us all local recommendations and how to travel to Positano and Amalfi area. Her breakfast was also very nice. stay is near to Piano station having train access to Naples and Sorrento. We had a great time staying here

Rachele is an amazing host, welcomes you into her house and makes sure you have a nice stay. She makes sure the information she gives is correct and gives good recommendations. The town is the perfect mix of relaxed and interesting. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Perfeito!

Rachele primeiramente obrigada por sua estadia, atenção e carinho! a estadia na sua casa foi uma experiência que levarei para a vida toda! Primeiramente, ficar em Piano de Sorrento, se estará de moto ou Carro é a melhor opção, principalmente por conta do estacionamento com mais vagas e a cidade por si só, é um charme. Até Sorrento são só 10 minutos de deslocamento de moto. E da estação de trem até a casa Rachele são 10 minutos andando! A Rachele foi muito atenciosa e nos recebeu antes do check-in, nos deu todas as dicas da cidade. A casa dela é extremamente bem cuidada, muito cheirosa e sem contar o charme! Nosso quarto tinha vista para o mar, perfeito! O banheiro apesar de ser compartilhado estava todo o tempo disponível e limpo! Rachele, obrigada por nos receber e ser essa anfitriã maravilhosa!

We quickly felt at home, Rachele offered us the most friendly and kind welcome. The accommodation is immaculate, clean and well equipped. The breakfast and coffee each morning was lovely. Rachele also made some excellent recommendations for local restaurants - we ate very well. When we return to Sorrento, we will return to Rachele’s house.

We had a great experience at Rachael’s home. She takes very good care of you and you will get a more authentic Italian experience staying with her. Her house is extremely clean and well kept and we enjoyed her breakfast in the morning.

좋아요

숙소는 소렌토가 아니라 피아노 디 소렌토입니다. 지하철로 2정거장정도 가야하는 다른 지역이에요. 헷갈리지 않으셨으면 좋겠습니다. 그럼에도 역 자체랑은 가까워서 위치는 좋아요. 상당히 깨끗하고 잘 정리되어 있었습니다. 주인분께서 많은 것을 도와주고 알려주시려고 노력하십니다. 아침 일찍 나가느라 조식을 못 먹고 나가는 시간이었는데, 빵도 챙겨주시고 친절하셨어요 :)

Dream stay at Casa Rachele

We had the best stay at Casa Rachele! Rachele was brilliant; very attentive and helpful, great communication and just a lovely person. The house was very clean; bedroom, bathroom and main communal area, and there is everything you need. Piano di Sorrento is 2 stops away from Sorrento (€1.30) and trains run frequently. They also run to Pompei and Naples very frequently. The area itself is less touristy, which we loved, more of an authentic experience. There are some lovely spots to eat and Rachele suggested many things to do during our stay, plus prices and the best options. We explored Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompei - all very easy day trips from this location. Thank you for your hospitality, Rachele. We hope to be back! Tara

Excellent choice for Sorrento

I originally chose to stay at Casa Rachele because of the low rates vs. central Sorrento but soon discovered that there are even better reasons to stay here. Piano is authentically Italian with great restaurants, shops, and a good laundromat. Sorrento is indeed a beautiful city but is tourist-oriented and most of the people you will see there are tourists, whereas Piano gives a real Italian small town experience where almost everyone you encounter is a local. Rachele is an excellent hostess who keeps a clean and spacious B&B in a very good apartment building. She is a lifelong resident who is very helpful in advising on what to do in the area and has good tips on various tours and sites, as well as the restaurants in Piano. Breakfast is typically Italian and excellent. My room was quite comfortable and quiet and provided a wonderful view. Wifi was at least as fast and reliable as anywhere else I have stayed in Europe. The bathroom was large by European standards with a full bathtub/shower instead of the usual tiny shower most places have. The train station was less than 10 minutes walk away with trains leaving every half-hour and taking less than 5 minutes to get to Sorrento. The cost is 1.3 euros one way. You can also take a bus that travels along the main street in Piano, Corso Italia, which eventually also becomes the main street of Sorrento. Casa Rachele is very highly recommended.

Good Place To Stay

Very clean, and close to the train station which will get you access to Sorrento or the other direction towards Pompei and Naples. Very kind and gracious host. I would highly recommend if you don't mind being outside of Sorrento.

We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay with Rachele was incredible! Her hospitality towards us was outstanding! staying at casa Rachele was a much needed change of pace compared to skipping from hotel to hotel. Rachele opened her home to us and took the time to share her expert knowledge of the area which made for a much more personal and authentic experience. I highly recommend this BnB to anyone looking for casual atmosphere with an amazing host! If you need to know anything, just ask Rachele!

Wonderful time with Rachele

Dear Rachele, Sorry it took me a while to write this review, things were quite hectic when we got back home. It was lucky of us, to be able to spend three days in your place, Piano is a lovely small town, we really did enjoy our time here. I guess I could understand why you would like to stay here for the rest of your life even after you'd lived in the big metropolitan cities in the country. Anyways, I should probably share some informative stuff with Rachele's potential guests. So basically you would be staying in the same apartment with the host, and some other guest from another room.(Oh Rachele, how nice of you, to have prepared the room with sea view for us!) The place is quiet, except when there's music playing out loud on the street, or firework from wedding in a big hotel nearby( which both happened during our stay) Luckily, the house got some very nice and secured windows,we were sound asleep with them closed, and those blinds are amazing too, I am a light sensitive person and couldn't sleep well with any light on, and I slept very well during my stay. At the last morning we had breakfast at the apartment, Rachele got us the dolce we like.Just remember to respect each other and talk talk talk, do ask your host for tourist's info.She would be happy to share with you!(and also send you to a grocery store nearby for amazing and cheap sandwich) Rachel, if you ever happend to come to Hong Kong, please contact us,we'd be thrilled to show you around.

Rachele of Casa Rachele was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble for her she gave great advice on where to park at a reduced price (we drove from Roma but found it easier to travel the local area by train) and also had maps directions and advice on using transport to places such as Sorrento in 5 minutes by train and Pompeii in 25 minutes at the entrance by train. We have no reservations in reccommending Casa Rachele for someone wanting the genuine Southern Italian local experience especially as Casa Rachele is just a stroll to the Piazza and 5 minutes walk to the train. The 4.8 rating is thoroughly deserved.
