"Hotel as described, experience was not bad for the price. Breakfast was available daily and was good. Restaurant staff were pleasant and friendly. Hotel staff were okay for the most part, some were a bit on the colder side but this could also be cultural differences. My travel partner and I had a few negative experiences/encounters with some of the housekeeping staff and the language barrier was not helpful in these matters. There is a well equipped gym as described, fridge in the room, kitchen...

"The location of the Excelsior is superb, overlooking the Bay of Naples. If you have the port side rooms you wake up to Vesuvius across the Bay and can watch its many moods throughout the day. On the roof top terrace you can watch the lights turn on in the city and see Vesuvius become a presence that is hard to ignore. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and we needed it after 12 days of negotiating the cobblestone streets of the Amalfi Coast, averaging 6 miles a day, and...

"The Hotel is very nice , especially for the area which is close to the airport. It is not fancy but it is clean and the staff is very helpful and friendly.
The breakfast was the best we had for our whole two weeks in Italy.
We needed a taxi to the airport at 3:45 am and the hotel took care of ordering it for us. And unlike a B&B, there is staff there overnight .
This is not really a neighborhood where one would take long walks, it is not in town. But there are a couple of good restaurants...

"An old world experience in a modern world hotel! The facilities was beyond excellent and the staff was beyond great.
The location was close to everything but still tuck away from the crowds and noise.
The restaurant was excellent. The service was catered to the guest, making you fill special and unique.
I would be remiss to mention the private elevator to the beach/docks. Beyond special!
We would definitely stay here again!"
