Carnival getaway

Good location, very close to the airport. Shuttle was great. Spacious clean rooms. Customer service was good. Hanna was awesome and very friendly. I will definitely book here again. The restaurant had delicious food. The prices are very reasonable.

This properly is great for short stay, as it’s very convenient for a 24hr stay being very close to the airport. Unfortunately the one night I stayed the bathroom locked from the inside because it’s a push-in lock on the inside, so when you open the bathroom door it hits the wall and presses the lock, so it automatically locked the bathroom from the inside. The property did not have a key or way to reopen it, so we used a card to slip it thought the opening slot to force it open. This was an inconvenience and if we couldn’t get it open it seems that the property would have to break down the door just to open it. They should consider changing that type of lock so this incident doesn’t occur again. The water drainage in the shower is also faulty, as the water did not drain while in use so it made like a pool-like situation keeping the water at your foot while using the shower. This seems like it’s a simple fix that can be looked at to make the customers stay more comfortable. The room itself was great, very large bed and size of room was comfortable for 2 people. I think if the property fixes the issues encountered on my stay, they would get 5 stars easily. The staff was welcoming and quick to attend to our concerns of the bathroom door being locked. Overall, the short stay was good.

The staff were so incredibly kind and accommodating. They offered me a shuttle from the airport. The food was good and rooms were clean. It’s an older building so do not expect top of the line amenities but for the price point, I cannot complain. I have no complaints.

Their was no room card key. I had to use a master key on a door lock that was faulty. The poorly designed master key's plastic "handle" broke in one of my multiple attempts to unlock the door. I was made to pay for this key to be replaced. I do not think this was reasonable as the door lock itself was faulty. If the service was not as good as it was, I would not return.

When i went to check in,i was told i dont have a reservation. The lady in the front said i am the second person who book on expedia and had no reservation. The lady looked at me with a look of disgust. I asked her why she looking at me like that. She call her manager but he never came. She said she has a room. The shower was clogged.

Upon Arrival at this property the WIFI was not working due to weather. The pregnant staff at the front told us there is nothing she can due, which was fine. However a couple hours after I asked for wash cloths to take a shower her response to me was " there is none , house keeping is not here today". I said to this young lady how is this possible , we can only get wash clothes if house keeping is in?, she shrug her shoulders and walked off. The next morning we are suppose to receive a continental breakfast, that same front desk agent knocked on the door at about 8am in the morning and handed me 2 plates. In the plates were salt fish and bread. So I ask her what is this for her response was " that's the breakfast". I said to her I would like to order some pancakes because you told us yesterday when we arrived we can order it in the morning. She responded to me be saying " the chef is not in until 1pm this afternoon". So I said to her " so this food was cooked from yesterday ?" and she just look at me with an attitude. So I repeated myself by re-asking the same question and she just said " I don't know and walked off". So as she was walking off I asked her did you get a hold of the manager been asking for her since yesterday and you keep saying she is not answering. This young lady just kept on walking and totally ignored my question. So about 30 min later I walked to the front and I asked " did you get a whole of the manager yet, and she looked me in my face and lied .

The rooms are rather rough (I was on the first floor, so no windows! AC remote also didn't work), but it is clean and affordable and close to the airport. Definitely have the breakfast in the morning, as it was quite tasty and reasonably priced.
