"Shopping and the old town were close, and the train/bus station was a 5 minute walk away. The area was a bit rougher at night on the main road, but the street the hotel is on is very quiet at night. We were on the ground floor facing the road and heard nothing!
The proprietress is very lovely and allowed us to store our bags when we arrived very early off the ferry.
The little petit dejeuner in the morning (coffee, orange juice and a croissant) was a lovely bonus!
