"We stayed two non-consecutive nights. One on our way to our destination and the next on our return trip. On 5/28/26 we stopped on our drive to Florida. We were surprised with the room, it was very clean, quiet, and the A/C worked fine to remove the humidity which during this time was more important than cooling the room. The main building with reception and dining (breakfast) area was also very nice. The grounds are well maintained and the parking lot has a fence. I felt secure taking my dog out in the middle of the night. BTW, their pet fee is $25, which is more friendly than most.
The return trip and stay was the night of Monday, 6/01/2026. We already knew we wanted to stay here because of our 1st experience. However, we got put into corner room 101. This room was just as clean, but was awkward. The room was made much smaller due to the enormous size of the bathroom. Maybe this was designed for someone in a wheel chair, I'm not sure. Unlike our 1st room the previous week, the A/C for this room was lacking and didn't really remove the humidity so well. Also, the curtain didn't close all of the way at the right lower corner. I could see into the room from the parking lot and see out into the parking lot from the room. There was already tape on the wall in that location which I used to tap the blind to the wall to hold it shut.
My overall rating is a +. I would choose this Ramada again but I won't accept room 101."
Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Pearl River/Slidell
10/10 Excellent
"Our check in was quick, front staff very friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast as well. We also enjoyed the daiquiri shop right next door. Would definitely stay here again. We recommend trying Golden Dragon Buffet when you’re there. It was the best Chinese buffet!"
