"I had read all the reviews concerning The Walden before I booked 4 nights. People complained of watery eggs, only one elevator working, lack of hot water, on and on! My wife and I experienced none of that. Excellent breakfast with staff member refilling items constantly, both elevators operating every day, hot water, clean room. Easy check-in and out with friendly staff. This is a bargain in the area."

"Nice hotel with close proximity to restaurants and activities… could walk to the Island (very nice area with lots to do). Free gated parking and awesome breakfast buffet. Cost decent compared to other hotels in the area. Only cons to this hotel is The Island can get a bit loud on a Friday night and the rooms were a bit dated (only a bit). Good bed and air condition. I would stay here again, experience was a good one! "

"Absolutely adorable! Worth staying in king bed rooms with a balcony facing the river! It’s like you left the activity of Pigeon Forge and are in the woods instead. John at the front desk was awesome - gave us all kinds of information. Place is super close to all activities. The breakfast buffet was simple, but everything was fresh and pretty tasty. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Always stay here when me, my smaller kids and my daughter in law& grand kids take our yearly trip. Staff are so accommodating, the daily fast pass wrist bands tht are free is one of my favorites about staying here!! It’s just an over easy, relaxing stay! Not to mention the shuttle tht runs all day to the parks! If you have a larger group consisting of mainly lil kids then this is your place."

"First time staying at this hotel. It was absolutely amazing! Hotel staff was friendly, accommodating, and extremely knowledgeable of the local area. They also sell tickets to Dollywood at a discount. They have an amazing continental breakfast at a low charge. The rooms were gorgeous and very spacious!! Would definitely return."
