"We booked this room for 1 night as we wanted to drive from Paris to the south of France over 2 days and settled on visiting Lyon at the same time. We chose this hotel because it is quite central, has air conditioning in the rooms (which was highly appreciated as there is a heat wave in France right now), is next to a large covered parking area and was reasonably priced. Despite being right next to the train station the hotel was extremely quiet The hotel looks very nice and has games and toys by the reception to entertain kids. The room was spacious and we enjoyed amenities such as free drinks, slippers and bathrobes. We did not try the hotel restaurant (we went to Brasserie George a few steps away and it was a great experience) and missed the cutoff for the breakfast buffet (due to jet lag). The staff was amazing: very friendly and knowledgeable and they helped us with our bags and suitcases on the way out. I would definitely book that hotel again if going back to Lyon."
