"Older hotel with freshly remodeled rooms at a good price. The room was clean with comfortable beds. Great location when traveling I81 or I77 with plenty of eating options close by. "

"The breakfast menu was fine, but there was no one to clean the tables. The man at the desk was trying to assist customers and also run the breakfast bar. You need someone assigned directly to the breakfast bar. Also, the hotel rooms were not clean. It was obvious that the rooms had not been vacuumed, and the bathroom floor was disgusting. Also, the drain in the shower needs to be fixed it almost ran over the edge while taking a shower. Unacceptable. This property needs attention. "

"I reserved a room with a bathtub 3 weeks ahead of time and when I arrived, they didn't have one available. The staff member blamed Hotels.com for the mix up and did nothing to rectify the situation. The shampoo dispensers were nearly empty, breakfast was continental and ok at best. Was not worth the price. It also claims it's a convenient distance to Virginia Tech, but for that price, I'd rather stay at a different location. It took nearly 30 minutes to get to the University."

"Hotel undergoing renovations and updating of an existing and dated hotel. Pool was closed due to repairs/renovation. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of choices and was maintained and good. Our room was clean and recently updated. However, our room’s wall thermostat did not work, but the old ac/heater worked manually, although it was loud and clunky. Overall, nothing to brag about but we were happy with our stay."
