"The Little Inn has been a special place to us for many years. It is indeed charming and the staff was all kind and helpful. We did discover on this trip that we should have waited a week or two since they were in transition to full season services. The dinner menu had several changes that had to be conveyed verbally since the printed menu was not updated, and, most disappointing was that there was no breakfast available except on weekends at this point. "Great location. The heater was so noisy all night I could barely sleep. Other than that, the place was good. "

"All members of the staff were helpful and courteous. The saltwater pool was clean and large enough and deep enough for a real swim. The continental breakfast was fresh and good. The mattress was very comfortable. Next time we will ask for a room facing the garden (back of the property) as the window treatments do not block the light from the hotel's highway signage and I need a dark room to sleep in. Otherwise: geat property!"

"Sadly, the Ben Miller is outdated and really needing a makeover. Straight from the outset, the front lobby was shabby (with furniture that was seriously in need of a change), the dining area resembled something out of a lodge in the Poconos in the 60's/70's (certainly not fine dining) with ample evidence of roof leaks and the view to the river having debris quite visible. Our room, while clean, showed evidence of much wear and tear; what stuck in our minds was the rust visible on the ceiling...

"The pool and hot tub were great! Perfect temperatures. I went on Easter weekend and they weren’t busy so I had the pool to myself, an unexpected pleasure. The room was exactly as advertised, and they left an adequate stock of coffee which is a must for me :). The room was clean, the heat and air worked fine, very comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful. Only suggestion is they don’t have a breakfast and even thought there’s stuff relatively close by, it would be nice if they had some...

"Great stay. I have been at the Maple Leaf Motel several times over more than 20 years. I have always loved it, and I find it to be better than ever under the most recent management! I received courteous service, found updated equipment in rooms, which were extremely clean. I will be back, when my travels bring me to Goderich!"
