"The town is beautiful, our specific room with balcony was amazing, the part city and part sea. Mostly friendly staff and carriers. The bath water does not get fully warm. Overarching problem: ant infestation in our room after the first morning we woke up. When speaking with the receptionist about this, she made us feel like it was our fault (asked if we had any big trash —No, we had only used their small cylinder gold trash can at this point. Asked us if we put any food in it—- No, all we had were the welcoming snacks and champagne they laid in our room. But even if we did eat, so you cannot eat in your 5 star hotel room? Why is there room service meal options then?) To compensate for the ants, they offered us another room, but we were only in Eze for ONE full day and did not want to spend that time moving and re-settling our 1 year old baby since we did that just the day before and it took a couple hours. Anybody who has traveled with a baby can understand this— Receptionist complained that it was difficult to offer a compensation, well, it is difficult for us to take time on our one day in Eze (having flown from America to France). After returning to the office to accept their compensation proposal, the receptionist tried to change the reimbursement to the first night only. When I asked her to keep her word, she had a bad attitude and I could hear her complaining in French to her colleague. Terrible attitude after placing a customer in a room infested with ants."

"Our big windows and view were unbelievable! Room was cool and modern. Staff were so nice and helpful. The building had great amenities. I loved the steam room and sauna. Pool was nice but we didn’t use it. Location was amazing! I wish we could’ve stayed longer."

"Beautifully renovated property at the Monaco boarder 6 minute walk from train station. Rooms were spacious, extremely comfortable bed and bedding, nice shower. Have a wonderful rooftop bar overlooking the city and sea with light snacks and pizza. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Definitely a great and affordable place to stay while visiting Monaco. "

Just not what one would expect at this price point. No hair dryer in the room and no milk for coffee. Price was €1,200 for the room for the night so you would expect more "

"It is a cozy place to stay for a vacation. The hotel staff and owner are lovely people. We booked for one night and extended for another night. If time had allowed us, we would have stayed more days there. The property felt like home. Where it is located: Cap D’ail itself , has so much to offer already. And bus stations snd train stations are close. It’s easy to go to Monaco and Nice. We will miss Hotel Normandy. "
