"The rooms that don’t overlook the lake are not worth the price. Unless you walk around the parking lot to the back of the property or go to the restaurant, you’ll never see the lake. The property is quaint but not very well maintained. The ceiling fan made a dreadful scraping noise so couldn’t be used, the ac came on and off all night loudly enough that it wakes you when it goes off and on. "The hotel needs updating badly. If it wasn’t the only one in town we would not have stayed. The hallways smelled musty and the carpets were old and a trip hazard. There was black mold in the bathroom, and the couch was actually peeling. The breakfast was fine but the cafe staff was rude and they actually had signs telling guests they couldn’t take plates back to their rooms if they didn’t want to eat in the empty and musty dining room."

"For the most part everything was great. AC didn't work very well. Staffing was good. However the shower in room 326 seemed to be leaking all over the floor no matter what we tried to do."

"Beds were very uncomfotable. Had to have someone come in and flip the mattress. Took for ever.. Ac unit way to close to the bed. Swimming pool, we all got some kind of infection from the pool. Pink eye, or a bacterial infection. Not happy about that. We all had to go to emergency care. We won't be coming back. The carpets need to be cleaned in the rooms."

"The staff was very welcoming when I arrived for my stay. It was a bit difficult to locate the property, due to placement and road construction, and parking was limited. However, the hotel made up for it with good amenitites"

"The check-in clerk was a little rude. That tainted the rest of my stay. The bathrooms need to be remodeled. The bathtubs are old and dirty and out of date."

"I was very disappointed there was no Jacuzzi the breakfast stop at 9 o’clock on the weekend which is real early. The staff was excellent."
