"The cabin was nice. The ambiance was fun and the bed was comfortable.
Some of the other guests weren’t so great (loose pit bull, drunk, hogging the outdoor amenities), but that wasn’t Miner’s Camp’s fault."

"We rented the Alpine Manor Retreat for my daughter’s ski birthday weekend. This place is great. Great location. Easy to get to Alpine, Pallisades, Tahoe City or Truckee. Clean. We always like that when we walk in. Responsive communication system. Door code didn’t work at first, but was fixed in less than 5 minutes. "

"I highly recommend the owner replace the carpet in the bedroom. I had to cover the floor with blankets and sleep with the window open in order to not smell the dog feces smell. The carpet was clean but obviously the smell was in the pad underneath the carpet. Pretty gross..
My other complaint…. It 2026 put a Smart TV in the living room. They’re pretty cheap!!!
All else was good. We enjoyed our stay. These things did not ruin our trip, Just made it less that great…"
