"This property lacks staff, which makes unexpected situations difficult to resolve. For example, it has a lovely rear garden for guests' use. However, access to it is through a door which is locked or unlocked as guests remember. I was locked outside, by an inattentive hotel staff member no less, who locked the door from the interior without checking to see if anyone was outside. I was trapped in the garden for 45 minutes until another guest happened to come downstairs, saw me, and unlocked...

"Great location by the marina in Marseille. Overall the hotel is clean but needs an interior facelift due to some wear and tear. The staff is generally average and a bit inflexible typical of French service culture. Parking is three blocks away so an inconvenience. The bedding was adequate at best yet the bathroom was plush with deep hot water tub."

"Great location, especially if going to watch football as the Orange Velodrome is just a few mins walk away. There is a metro station a stone's throw from the hotel and also bus services too so ideal base for visiting the area. Breakfast really good too. I'd definitely stay again. "

"While the view from the room was quite something, because the building faces west the afternoon sun boils the rooms. Mine never cooled down all night. AC was inadequate. Good breakfast and nice bar area. In a very busy and noisy part of town. But close to all activities."
