Every morning a very handsome woodpecker would come and curiously check us, it was really unique. "Wonderful, accommodating, and attentive staff!! Beautiful lodge and rooms. Jungle and gorgeously landscaped flowering grounds surround the lodge. The food was delicious and in ample amounts. We did the snorkeling trip to Cano island and the hike in Corcovado park. Saw lots of wildlife on both, though even at the lodge we saw Macaws, a Toucan, Capuchin monkeys, and a large snake climbing a tree! "The property is very new,. Rooms are spacious and since it is a resort, the kitchen ia fully stocked ans convenient. Breakfast is good but pricey. The fitness room is a suoer plus.. terrace in the suites have a great view. The hotel is right across the street from the airport. Overall it is a great option. "

"Staff is great. Family-style breakfasts and dinners were wonderful. Rooms/casitas are nice, hotel overall is lovely. Location is good and bad. Great proximity to isolated beach. Road to the hotel is very slow, bumpy, and pothole-ridden. 4x4 highly recommended and the road wil add 20 minutes a each way to your trip in and out of the hotel, so plan accordingly. "
