"Staff were rude at times. I had to upgrade to fit our family in the room and the whole stay, they kept telling me the room was for 3 x people only, even to the point of housekeeping coming back to remove the extra bed they had just put up! Our room number was neither on any breakfast sheets so were always questioned if we had paid for it or not. No information on how to try the kids club. Spa staff were rude, wouldn’t even let the kids wear goggles to swim in the pool. Not a 5* experience. The hotel itself is nice and very well done."

" Amazing stay at Salt Garonda! Early check-in, spotless rooms cleaned twice daily, and super friendly staff throughout. The spa was lovely – special thanks to Paula and Irene who were fantastic. We were breakfast only, but after eating in Mikel & Pintxo we wished we’d gone half board – the food was excellent. Staff went above and beyond by linking our bookings and putting our rooms next to each other. Would highly recommend and would definitely return! "

"Seems to me like the rooms could be decorated with a bit more taste. Looks quite old and 'beige', kind of 90s. Same for the television, quite old. The folding bed in the triple room was absolutely uncomfortable, very hard, with just a piece of wood basically to hold you. In terms of the buffet, there is a lack of choices for vegetarians. There is a lot of salad and stuff, but other main dishes in general, are lacking vegetarian options. Also poor indications for vegetarian friendly food in the buffet. The fish and the meat are cooked on separate grills, but then the cook is using the same tools to handle meat and fish... Other than that, very nice hotel, well located, and the staff was absolutely amazing. Everyone was super helpful and friendly, and we had a really great time. "

"Really enjoyed staying here, the hotel is a perfect size for a relaxing short visit and very well located near to beaches and bars/restaurants. The staff who work here are all very polite and engaging and the selection of food for breakfast and dinner is varied and fresh. Excellent value for money and only a €16 cab 5 mins from the airport, don’t get an uber they want 3x the cost. The only downside was noise from dogs barking in adjacent properties when you have the balcony door open but this is not within the hotels control. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone for a cheap and cheerful relaxing break. Didn’t visit the spa or indoor full lane pool but this is also a bonus and excellent to have these facilities included in the price. "
