"I had a fantastic stay at La Casa Juan Ranas. It was mid October so the weather was still warm and the local area was vibrant. The view from my suite’s terrace, was truly breathtaking - the best view of Alhambra! It was memorable having breakfast on my terrace and seeing the whole of Granada sprawling beneath the palace. The staff and hotel owner were great and made sure no request was too much - they were really friendly and helpful, arranging trips to the Alhambra. The food in the hotel...

This place is a very interesting place to stay and I slept great despite some noisy neighbor drunk ugly crying for a couple hours. I'm pretty understanding when it comes to living in a repurposed older establishment so I don't generally think it's fair to knock it for its old home characteristics (hearing toilets flush and noisy floors) but room and bathroom configuration could have been thought out a little...

"Location was great but was disappointed that they charged $5/bag to store luggage on early arrival. Apartment was clean, but toilet had some issues, luckily there were 2 bathrooms. "

"The room is a suite with a kitchen, nice and clean, and affordable. Staff is very nice. We arrived early due to train cancellation by Renfe. We were able to store one backpack there so we could start touring the city before checking in. High-end feeling for sure. Cleaning is offered upon request, but it is not clear if they would charge for that and what is the extra to pay. So try to keep the room tidy if you want to enjoy the whole stay. "
