"Great location between the cathedral and the market in the old town with all the amazing cafes, shops and historical sites to offer…. and just a 30 minute walk to the Guggenheim through the new town. Super little hotel with friendly, helpful staff, great breakfast offering a range of freshly made hot and cold dishes. "What a wonderful hotel - had everything we needed in a great location, we were able to walk everywhere, even to the Guggenheim (20 min walk down the river 🥰) Know that this area is a pedestrian only area as it is the medieval heart of Bilbao. The beds were spacious, pillows were great, we did spring for a larger room with a balcony & a great view and even though the hotel is in Casco Viejo/Zazpikaleak it was quiet. We were there during the heat wave and the AC worked great! So thankful to have...

"Had all the basics that were needed. Check in was quick and easy. Parking was extremely tight and quite difficult. Our room was clean, tidy, and had all the basics amenities. The bed felt a bit springy for us but alright if you are staying for just a quick night. We had a hard time with the AC, it just turned off from 2 AM to 5AM and the room became very hot so it was hard to fall back asleep. "I had tripped while walking to the hotel and the manager on duty immediately brought me ice for bruises and a cut lip, bandaids and special water. Breakfast as part of the reservation was ample with many choices taken at the restaurant next door. Despite the unusual hot weather I walked to the Guggenheim Museum and around the Old Town."

"The room we originally booked had a bad smell when we checked in and staff were kind enough to quickly find us a new room and give us a complimentary upgrade. After that, our stay was great. Our new room was clean and spacious, with a lovely view of the river. The location is convenient and walkable to the rest of the city. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Ok - so the location is the only thing going for this hotel. Other than that - nothing. It’s pretty rundown, halls smell, hair in the corners of the room, bed is so small, pillows aren’t comfortable & flat but the AC is great! There’s no mini-fridge, no snacks, no microwave, no washcloths, no washcloths. There are NO amenities. I had arranged beforehand for extra pillows for my brother because of a cancer/surgery issue & he can’t lay down flat or could suffocate… the young girl at the desk said...

"Staff, the few that there are, are very helpful & friendly. The fact that there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room is a big minus for me in a supposedly 4 star hotel. Breakfast was adequate but not going to win any awards."

"We had a lovely overnight stay here. The room was spacious and clean. It had everything you would want for a comfortable stay. We were surprised to find tea/coffee/kettle. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Carpark instructions were easy to follow but to get to the hotel from the carpark, walk down the road to your left rather than straight ahead."
