The Inn at Shady Lawn

10/10 Excellent

"Love it!"

Courtyard By Marriott Sugar Mountain Banner Elk

10/10 Excellent

"The front desk staff is exceptional. The bartenders are exceptional."

The Lodge at Banner Elk

8/10 Good

"This hotel has recently been innovated. The rooms are all very nice, but other property innovations are not completed. Once the restaurant and bar, swimming pool etc are finished I expect the hotel will be extremely comfortable."

Switzerland Inn

8/10 Good

"Meal was sub par.... and expensive... but lodging is what makes this place special! Beautiful views and fantastic ambience!"

Carolina Country Inn

10/10 Excellent

"Toilet ran off and on. Window didn’t lock and storm door latch was broken. Enjoyed the old style room with very comfy bed. Nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay!"

Black Bear Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Our cabin was very clean and orderly. The staff was by far the best part of the whole stay. The fire pit was stocked and kept going by Charles. A small group of us sat by the fire and enjoyed the evening. It was one of the best stays we have had on the road that we can ever remember. We stayed for the location but will come back for the peace and quiet the property offers. The Cafe was a pleasant surprise for breakfast. The building itself large and beautiful. The food, however was even better. Reasonable pricing and exceedingly large portions. Just a really fantastic stay!"

The Highlands at Sugar

10/10 Excellent

"The room was excellent and the view was magnificent!!! The only thing I would have changed is the fireplace working. Also the water pressure could be a little better."

Heritage Hill Cabins

8/10 Good

"It was a nice experience staying there, the only thing was that we ran out of hot water."

Parkview Lodge & Cabins

10/10 Excellent

"Room was clean, staff was SO nice. It was a great little place for a quick and affordable stop near Land of Oz."
