"This Logis is in a pretty environment. It could be so good but it’s management that lets it down! We arrived after the check in time then had to phone to get an access code. The reception wasn’t manned till much later. When we booked this hotel it was because of the reviews of tge restaurant. On arrival we found the restaurant wasn’t on site and it was closed for the summer! Breakfast was available and we checked the start time of 7am as we had to leave early. The breakfast was on time and ok...

"We had an overnight stop at this property on our way back to the ferry. Our stay was very pleasant and the hosts were very friendly. The property was very clean and they catered for all needs, tea, coffee, water etc in the room and I even got a recipe for a wonderful courgette marmalade. The property is not too far from Vitre which is a beautiful town and definitely worth a visit."

"Lovely clean modern hotel. Suite was huge and beds really comfy. We stayed during a hot period so struggled a big with the heat as the suite has big windows, but there was an aircon unit we could use. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but we kept having to ask for refills of most things, but they were happy to do that. The grounds are stunning and relaxing. We would sit ourside in the evening with a local beer (great IPA and Blond) and listen to the birds."

"Good for a couple of days as it is very well located right in the centre. Fairly clean and comfortable. Very good varied breakfast which was fairly cheap at 10€ per person. "

"We booked À la Mainguère at quite short notice, for a quiet night before catching our ferry back to England the next day. Well I have to say, that after one night, we want to book again and for longer! What a fabulous place to stay and with just perfect hosts too. The attention to detail in all areas from greeting us, the presentation of the rooms, to a fabulous breakfast. Thank you so much. Hospitality at its best. "
