The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. "

"Hotel Heritage Dea Hvar, not to be confused with the Heritage Hvar Palace Hotel, was a small family owned place with just the right amount of quaint loveliness and proximity to Old Town and the ferry. "We stopped off in Hvar for a couple of nights en-route from Dubrovnik to Split and so glad we chose Dela. We had such a relaxing time there. It is a family run establishment and they really go out of their way to help and make your stay special. The Dela is located up a hill just out of town but the family are always on hand to pick you up or drop you off. We were picked up from the ferry and after dining out in the old town so nothing to worry about, it's a pleasant walk downhill into town...

"The property was just right. An easy walk to town and equipped with all the essentials. We are four, so it was great to have two bathrooms The hosts were great. They picked us up at the bus station when we arrived ( and dropped us off when we departed). We had dinner at the host's son restaurant and watched the sunset while enjoying delicious food and drink. Highly recommended!"
