"I was really disappointed with my stay at Melia. The first thing that hit me when I walked into the room was the smell there was a strong musty, damp odor throughout the entire space, like the whole room was dealing with a humidity problem. It made it hard to feel comfortable or relaxed.
On top of that, whoever planned the hotel’s layout made a baffling decision: they put a cigar bar right in front of the guest rooms. As a result, the entire hallway reeked of cigarette and cigar smoke and it was overwhelming. Every time I stepped out of my room, or even just walked down the corridor, I was hit with that heavy smoke smell.
Between the damp, musty room and the constant cigar smoke bleeding into the hallway, the whole experience felt poorly thought out. I’d think twice before booking here again"
