"The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. The rooms are cute but need a deep cleaning. For an average cost of $1,000 a night I expect my room to be in prestige condition. It was not. The furniture and rugs were filthy. Also, the staff twice entered my room after a quick knock. One was checking to see if the room had been cleaned and the other one insisted he needed to check the mini bar stock. I was in bed half dressed taking a rest at 3pm. The level of unprofessional was baffling....

"Beautiful hotel on a miraculously quiet street. Staff is wonderful and cannot do enough for you. Rooms a bit small but by European standards maybe slightly larger. Only complaint is that in our deluxe room the bathroom was not separate so that there was no privacy whatsoever and the toilet also part of the larger room. This was off-putting. "

"Staff on arrival were friendly and helpful. The duplex apartment was very clean and equipped to a very high standard. It had everything you would expect and more including t bags and coffee, fresh water, toiletries. The only thing to be aware of is the top floor apartment has small windows and sloping roof but I knew I was booking a top floor Paris apartment. Also the small lift only went to the 4th floor so you need to use the stairs for the last floor. This was disclosed when I booked. The...

"The place was excellent. Clean with free access to a washing machine and dryer that was greatly appreciated. Our room was on the first floor, which was too close to the street noise. Even at 3AM in the morning, I could hear a lot of activity. Next time, I will bring earplugs. Other than the external noise, it was a great place to stay."

"this is, as many say, a little gem. each room is decorated carefully, the bedding, bed, and bathroom are all comfortable and well tought out. coffee, tea and cookies are available 24/7 and an ample breakfast is included in the price, served in the sitting area. there is often no one at the reception desk, which can feel odd, but you can leave your luggage early and it will magically appear in your room when you come back. the location is great and the staff is kind."

"The staff was polite, knowledgeable and helpful. I can’t believe I found sound a perfectly accommodating hotel in such a great location for such a good price. I easily walked here from the train station after getting off an airplane. Many of Paris’ main tourist destinations are within walking distance and the Metro station is only a few dozen yards away. I’ve traveled to Paris 5 times and I think I’ve finally found the hotel I’ll call my go-to. "

"I was offered the larger top floor room with window views! The area is walkable and safe to wander as a solo. The front desk was helpful and the attached restaurant served a delicious basil pasta! I loved the brick wall design featured - but no shower in my room - I adapted to the European style with bubble baths! The coffee in the morning was top notch. I would recommend a stay for the ease of access to all things being a tourist in the greatest city!! "
