"We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. "A fabulous place to stay. We were greeted with a very welcoming pot of coffee after a long journey. We were told of things to do, places to eat but as we were going to a wedding the day after we couldn't do any walking. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable and lovely toiletries were in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was incredible, better than a lot of smart hotels we have stayed in. "Hot bath tap didn't work so moved to another room. The curtains in there were so thin that the outside lights were so bright in my room and made it really hard to sleep. The whole place needs an upgrade. Beautiful building but lots of damp water leak patches in ceilings of corridors and in therestaurant."

"Lovely, clean, comfortable property with friendly owners. Breakfast was great quality too. The property is a short way from Abergavenney, surrounded by countryside - so very peaceful. A very relaxing stay."
