"The room itself was almost pristine, it was so clean. The property is also quite nice, very quaint. I appreciate the free Continental breakfast in the morning and the staff was very nice as well. Make sure that you ask about amenities when you check in. I paid $40 to go to the beach, because I didn’t know that the hotel had free passes you could borrow for the day. "Nice breakfast time,,,,,lots to choose from,,,,,,bagels, toast,,,,cereal,,,,,pastries,,,,,,cookies,,,,,,and I especially liked the latte machine which made decent latte's.,,,,,,,,,,,computer gave us no problem when we had to check in with airline.....Desk people were always helpful."

"The room was great. Staff is hit or miss - at check in, the front desk agent barely greeted/said two words to us. The public attendant working gave us a nice welcome though! Breakfast was okay - the scrambled eggs were horrible, but I guess you can’t really complain when it’s complimentary. Nice place for a quick 1-night stay."

"The room was very spacious and appeared clean. However, when we pulled back the bed covers, the sheets were grossly soiled and obviously had not been changed. The front desk staff seemed unconcerned and offered us a clean set of sheets to change ourselves, but made no apology or offer to change rooms. Customer service training seemed to be lacking for the front desk staff. Breakfast had the standard options."

"If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. The rest of it was really clean. People were really friendly, location is great."

"Hotel is not clean. Room is tired, rundown in ill repair ,cigarette holes in the sheets. Dusty were my allergies and asthma kicked up! Unsafe feeling as there are long-term temporary people residing in the hotel."
