"Overall a great hotel except for the communication between front desk staff regarding laundry return times which nearly caused a delay in leaving the hotel and my flight. It wasn't an English issue, it was a disposition to always say 'yes' to the client just to not lose face which needs to be addressed urgently. If things cannot be obtained at a certain time, management needs to train staff to say 'no, sorry, it cannot be done in that timeframe'. Simple, would solve many issues.
In terms of facilities, two of the three gym machines were not working, which can happen, I get it. No signs or heads up was given so I had to figure it put for myself. Would have been nice for staff to just mention faulty machines as a courtesy, rather than leave the client to discover it for themselves and leave a medium review online like this.
In other areas, food, transport links, room cleanliness all A* quality. Western buffet and dishes together with East Asian and Malaysian cuisin also on offer, varied and sumptuous. There was even a small gallery art exhibit in the lobby showcasing local Malaysian upcoming and established artists which was great."
