Was a very nice stay, can see some work has been done to the inside, unfortunately no pool now but you can get a 1 hour free accross the road to use the main pool. Rooms are nice but warm as no aircon but do supply a fan for you all.

no complaints about the hotel or the helpful staff. It might be somewhat dated in appearance, but the hotel was perfectly comfortable for myself and I was particularly impressed with the breakfast location and food on offer. So too the helpful and friendly lady on duty in the morning in the breakfast room.

Building is not attractive from the outside but everything inside was just fine. A nice welcome and a nice room with a sea view (and two fans as it was over 30C outside). In addition to the hotel itself there are two cafe/restaurants on the seafront within five minutes walk from the hotel. Free parking a bonus. All together a pleasant good value stay!

We had an ok stay. The hotel really could do with an upgrade, the rooms are tired looking. The breakfast was ok, although the chef doesn’t know how to cook bacon, it was inedible and almost raw. The staff we came into contact with were all friendly. The location of the hotel is in a nice spot with some rooms overlooking the sea. I’ve been to this hotel a couple of times now, I’m unlikely to return for a third time. It really is better to pay more for better accommodation.

Stayed here for 1 night, single traveller and dog. Easy to park, reception staff very friendly and helpful. Barman was really nice friendly and happy, which was welcomed after a long day. I was able to sit in the lounge area with the dog to eat dinner which was nice (a bit greasy but still nice) Room was clean and comfortable. Lifts to floors available. A bit surprised that a dog friendly hotel doesn’t have any outdoor bins for dog waste. Reception helped to dispose but there should be an outdoor bin. Breakfast was a couple of minutes late opening, which I know is picky but I was on a tight schedule so every minute counts! Also the milk for tea and coffee was off (not noticed by staff) and there was no more available. Overall a nice place for the money. Right on the beach. Would stay again.
