"Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner."

"Loved the woodsy location. I saw rabbits, squirrels and chipmonk. The Inn is beautifully decorated. Are room was clean and had a balcony with veiw of the woods. The breakfast was better than most "breakfast included" hotels. It was a very peaceful and quite stay. Must try the deep dish pizza at Uno's. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again."

"This location is old but clean. It was also very quiet as there seemed to be few customers. We stayed 3 nights while enjoying the convenient location to the Indiana Dunes National Park and a lot of nice restaurant options. The beds were comfortable. It was nice having a balcony overlooking a small lake with beautiful “Waterbirds”. We had no housekeeping services so no clean towels and no additional coffee pods for the in-room coffee machine. "This motel is very overpriced for the amenities and cleanliness. This is a motel and yet the front door do not automatically opened. With luggage this was very difficult to navigate. Looking at the ventilation unit filter, one can tell that this room has not been cleaned. The window was open. The shower head was Filthy! There was no plug in the drain to take a bath. Highway noise all day and night. The carpets are brown, as to not show dirt? Breakfast had waffles but the batter was...

"If I had to assign a number between 1 and 10, I'd give it a 9. Room was very clean, quite large (although that didn't really matter since we weren't in the room all that much) but most importantly, the shower was great! Oftentimes, the shower in a hotel is a letdown and leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied, but the showers at this particular location were fantastic."
