This is a Hidden Gem, the Hotel was unexpected surprise as we booked it online with Expedia. The service was great, Hotel was super clean & quiet. The partnership with the Brix Restaurant next door was fantastic. On our visit, they offer a coupon for 10.00 breakfast each morning which is applied to your folio each day. Food portion is very generous and delicious. Atmosphere is wonderful there, good music, service is great too.
Room was clean and staff was nice. We had a room with 2 doubles, and discovered that all double rooms have no view and are near a very busy and loud street. All of the balconies also have a very bright light that does not turn off which made it hard to sleep.
The restaurant in the hotel is excellent and it was nice to walk around the lake. Would only stay again in a lake view room.
Second stay and is wonderful and easy on off interstate. Lake side this time and very nice balcony for morning coffee. Attached restaurant is wonder for breakfast/brunch
Honest review —
The front desk staff was friendly. My room was clean. The location was excellent, close to town and the freeway. The third level is the best; however, on the second and first levels, you can hear all the footsteps from guests above, which made it difficult for me to fall asleep. I might have just had a noisy guest above me. It’s not worth the $257 a night, but it’s still a charming older hotel. I loved the beautiful lake view and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor balcony overlooking the lake. Overall, I’d give it three stars, but I am leaning toward four because of the location and nearby activities. Parking is easy to find. I visited from Seattle while helping family in the area. It was nice to return to Tualatin, where I went to high school 15 years ago. I paid for five nights elsewhere near Fred Meyer and am having better luck there.
Kat was our favorite part of our stay. She was warm and so welcoming! The room was clean and extremely comfortable. This hotel is truly a hidden gem and we cannot wait to come back!
