Older hotel, but good location

Location is close to the beach and restaurants. Hotel is very dated but clean. Couch was taken out to put an additional bed in this room, leaving it pretty crowded. We only reserved a room wiith one bed, so this wasn't required in our case. No shampoo provided, bring your own, but there was soap.

Nice friendly hotel close to the beach.

This was a nice little hotel within walking distance to the beach. The room was on the older side, but was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only complaints I have are the the shower is VERY small and one of the beds was not level, but I would definitely stay again.

Cute place at the Beach.

This is a really nice hotel, perfectly located at the beach and walkable to town. There were thoughtful amenities like shelves and hooks everywhere and a well stocked kitchen (bring your own paper towels, though). We plan to return. Staff was really nice and the room was perfectly clean. I took one point off for a short cancellation period (ended 2 weeks before our stay) and some of the other guests were noisy with talking at the pool until 2 am.

Great place, Great location, not very quiet.

The room was very clean, well equiped, and the hotel is ideally located. Right on the beach. The heated pool was fantastic. The only thing that left us desiring more was that the site is so small that whenever you are outside your room, you are right in the middle of the common area. We were on our terrace, but the kids playground was litterally 2 feet away, the picnic table 2 feet away, the pool, 2 feet away. There is just absolutely no way to get some quite, and relaxing time when you are outside your room. Great for family, and/or groups. But not so much for lovers or couples. We might go back with the kids, but not as a couple.

Great Stay!

First time staying and it was great! Very clean, pool was very well kept, owners very friendly and were able to arrange us to stay another night on the fly since we liked it so much! Highly recommend and will definitely be going back!

Perfect little motel by the beach.

VERY clean, all the essentials. And a nice warm pool when the ocean is too cold. The kitchenette was very well equipped: everything we needed was there. New manager is very personable, eager to please. He has long experience in hospitality, and it shows. We were there mid-week, before the "season", in late June, when the ocean has not warmed up all the way, and the motel was about 1/3 full. The motel and neighborhood were very quiet. Only problem I can think of is that the WiFi was not very strong in our room: had to move to one side of the room to get reasonable connectivity.

Chilly but cozy

I was there with my husband for 3days and 2 nights. The place is very clean and nice. It is very close to the old orchard beach and you can walk to the pier also. I would definitely come back.

Nice hotel and very close to the beach!

I know the area very well but we were booking last minute and couldn't get into any of our usual places. White Cap Village was a pleasant surprise. It was well located, very close to the beach and all necessary amenities and areas I was familiar with. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, a real pleasure to deal with.

Convenient to the beach but very dated

First I have to say the owners are very nice and willing to accommodate you if they can. We requested a unit with two beds, which we received but didn't realize the second bed would be in place of the couch in the living room. When booking online we knew this would be like a mini apartment with a small kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. This unit is very dated in looks and feel. The heater is controlled by a light switch on the wall so you can't set a temp it's either hot or cold, no in between. The beds sound like they still have their plastic wrap from the store on them and make them very loud to sleep on an they are not comfortable at all. The location is great if you are there for the beach.It's only 2 or 3 houses away but if the weather is bad there isn't any place in the room to hang out and relax. This room would be much better with a pull out couch and some kitchen necessities to store food in like plastic ware containers, tin foil or cling wrap. Sounds silly but when you don't bring those then you have nothing to store left overs in. Overall my stay was nice and served it's purpose but not sure if I would stay for the long haul do to how the room is set up. This could just have been our room as we didn't see any others. The outside was very nice and the pool looked great.

The owners of the white cap were very friendly and kind. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The area was pretty much closed down for the season, so nice and quiet. The beach was beautiful!!

Quiet

I thought we were "on" the beach when booking, but an extra 100 yard walk to the beach was OK. We were there off season so the entire area was quiet and we had an issue finding restaurants open. White Cap Village was nice, quiet and relaxing.
