I loved that they served the hot breakfast to your table and the food both dinner in the bar and breakfast In the restaurant were piping hot and delicious. Bedroom was spacious. Warm and comfortable. Not their fault—and the staff on the front desk were marvellous if you could get their attention, but it was apparent that they are short staffed. "Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Just wanted to comment, to be patient with food order. We arrived at 7.30pm, staff where clearly busy, there was also a wedding in the venue. We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good."

"I stayed at Preston House last week. Hotels.com didn't send me the details on email as was outlined in the booking. I contacted the owner who was extremely helpful and gave me an upgrade and sent on all the details straight away. The house itself is beautiful and my room was spacious and comfortable and a really lovely place to stay.
