It’s was a king sized bed so we thought it will be fine However the mattress well well worn no support. Both off us could not get Comfortable. And the pillows were flat Apart from that great location and lively food and staff"

We had the woodland suite with hot tub which all felt very special, the bathroom was especially fancy, and being in the hot tub with all the sparkly lights made such a great end to the day. Shout out to Iwen who served us a delicious breakfast and helped us plan our day with his good local knowledge. "

"This property has wonderful views. Comfy beds. The floors and log burner were covered in dust. The quilt cover had no presstuds that actually stuck together so during the night the cover was nearly off the quilt which was quite stained. The glass dinning table was definitely not child friendly very easy to knock into the corners for little ones. Although mentioned in the property description the beam going across the entrance to the top bedroom is not comfortable (realise this is structural but still not ideal). Bath plug very difficult to remove when bath is full, also gruby on tiles beneath radiator in bathroom. So can't deny the views are amazing, but for the price I would definitely expect more in the overall presentation of the place. On first appearance all seems nice but the longer you're there the more faults you notice."

"The staff were all lovely. There was a Porsche event. We were most definitely ‘extras’ to this event. Breakfast in particular. Couldn’t find our booking? Assumed with Porsche event and once explaining (both mornings) that we were just regular guests we were then sat in a seperate area. Very strange experience . Staff were lovely none the less, John in particular. At arrival, again once explained we were not with the Porsche event, we were told to drive down to the guest car park and the porter would see us to our room. No idea where this porter was? No instructions. Found Elvin at the gate and he kindly called a porter for us. "

"Location was excellent. Property small but perfect for two and very homely. Porthmadog is a lovely place and very convenient to visit other places. Weather was good which was a plus we really enjoyed our stay."
