Very dated place, cupboards, electrical & furniture need replacing as they are quite disgusting, pretty dirty through wear & tear over the years. Staff great, but only so much they can do. Road to place dreadful, ideally suited to a 4x4 vehicle, not an ordinary rental car. "

"Sadly, could only stay 1 night this time but the stay was absolutely LOVELY! better than anticipated. the location is so beautiful. tons of greenery, flowers, animals - heaven! on the road leading up to the hotel, you can see the water as well. peaceful, calm, perfect. the staff/service was also wonderful. the breakfast was beyond - fresh, delicious. "É a minha segunda vez no Monte do Giestal, mas tal como na primeira, uma estadia prolongada de 5 dias. Tudo é bom aqui, desde as amplas e equipadas casas, super confortáveis, ao espaço exterior, sossego, comida entregue a porta de casa pelas sempre atenciosas funcionárias que não deixam que falte nada. Mais, venho com o meu cão, de porte grande, e também ele adora o Monte. Tem bastante espaço para correr livremente e é muito bem recebido. "
