The apartment was very spacious and modern. The bed is on the second floor in a loft with skylights. The kitchen is nice so we made coffee and ate breakfast in. Parking is included and note that the road to it is one way out from the front so you need drive around the block and enter from the rear. The door opening is narrow as is the street so navigating it takes care.

Our stay at Sweet Porto-Firehouse was excellent. The property was in great location, the team was friendly, always ready to help in any way they can, whether it’s giving suggestions to places around the apartment or just helping out with any questions that you might have. We will definitely be staying here again.

Convenient location, close to downtown. Has a garage and that is perfect if you are driving. Linens and towels were very good. Space was very clean. True to pictures. Easy to access. Kitchen was good, but did not have any basic supplies so that was surprising. Not even papel towels so we could clean the table after eating. No salt, sugar. Coffee was just two pods, even if we stayed more than one night. First time we stayed in a place that had a kitchen and did not have the basic supplies. We will stay again and recommend.

Wonderful bright fully equipped apartment close to all attractions. Even has parking which we didn’t use. Travel light as there are stairs up to the apartments from the entrance. Only issue for us was the mattress on main bed is really firm, would be great if there was a topper guests could use if needed a softer bed. We had to sleep on top of duvet and spare blankets that were in the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it! One of the biggest perks was the free garage parking, which was secure and required a code to enter, so we felt very comfortable leaving our rental car there. The apartment itself was incredibly spacious—especially by European standards. The two-floor loft layout with 1.5 bathrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out, making it feel much more like home than a typical vacation rental. Everything was very clean, and the apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. While some of Porto’s main attractions were about a 20-minute walk away, we didn’t mind at all and enjoyed exploring the city on foot. There were also a few restaurants and other spots within a shorter walking distance. Overall, this was a great place to stay, and we’d happily book it again on a future trip to Porto!

Handy apartment with loft queen bed and upstairs bathroom with downstairs having galley kitchen and open living and dining. Creaky floors, tile in bath loose and limited tv options all in Portugese. Overall great spot for 2 to visit Porto. Missing washer but we made it work. Clean and roomy!

We really enjoyed this apartment. Nice and modern space and also comfortable. It was convenient to have the garage space for our car. Porto is a busy city and parking is not so easy. We liked the city a lot. The property doesn’t have a reception on site and we had to wait outside, on a busy street until someone came to let us in. So the checking wasn’t great. But everything else we loved!

Loved the apartment! Close enough to walk everywhere, especially the Via Catarina Mall, would would turn out to be a common place to get food. There's also a grocery store nearby. I am a believer that you should rate a place while you also take into account how much you paid. As far as bang for buck, this is an A+. I has a lot of space and more bathrooms and sinks than I needed. A hotel room of similar cost would have been much smaller a space. Even better than the room was the amazing customer service. They treated me kindly, waited for me patiently at check-in time, gave me tips around the city and they also called me a taxi in the middle of the night. Awesome city. Awesome apartment. Awesome people.

Very nice and comfortable place! Walkable from a lot of places but not at the center of activities so was relatively quiet as well. There’s a pastry shop a few steps from the place which was perfect for early morning activities. The place itself did not have luggage storage but we were able to do that at the main office (about 10 min walk). Communications (via expedia and WhatsApp) was excellent. We did not cook but the place looked like it had sufficient cooking and dining utilities. Three very minor things - there was no paper towels in the kitchen for cleanup, only one AC remote (that we saw) so had to bring the remote up and down to control the AC units on 1st level and loft, and the main entrance was a bit hard to open (we even thought the entry code did not work at one point — but okay once you get the “trick” to opening it). Overall very good experience and would not mind staying there again.

Fantastic location close to shopping and the main areas. I love how spacious the place is and the air conditioning is great. One unit for main level and separate unit for the loft bedroom. Parking is super tight, so you need to either get a small car, or be confident in your parking abilities, but I guess that’s true of driving in Europe in general. We got our small suv into the parking garage.

It was noisy on 2 main streets with motorbikes going constantly. The front door was constantly slamming. The lights only went on in the stairwell for a few seconds. Being disabled it was hard in the dark. It wasn’t the cleanest of all the places that we stayed on this trip either. Air worked well.
