"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit! Corniglia war der perfekte Ort als Base, da er abends sehr ruhig und entspannt war. Tagsüber haben wir Ausflüge zu den anderen Cinque Terre Städtchen gemacht, die viel überlaufener und voller waren. Da haben wir uns abends immer wieder auf unser beschauliches und ruhiges Corniglia gefreut. Die Unterkunft bietet alles was man braucht, ist sehr gemütlich und mitten in Corniglia gelegen. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Frühstück war eher sehr basic, aber ok."

Prepare to walk uphill to your room but this should be expected…you are in Italy after all! The town is beautiful and so are the other villages. "Not recommended. The supposed Mountain View room was actually just a small window looking at a hillside/somebody's private garden. The walls were paper thin and you could hear construction in the halls and all over the hotel. In fact, the entire hotel was under construction and smelled like black mold To cap off our disappointment, we had a discrepancy on our checkout date and the owner was extremely rude and gave us 30 minutes to vacate (even though we were an hour and a half away having...

"Do not take the hiking path that starts from the town of Vernazza, call a taxi to bring your luggage to the top! We made the mistake of bringing our luggage up the hiking path, which took an hour and 1000ft of elevation! Be wary of Google Maps and ask locals for routes. The walk from top to bottom is about 40-50 minutes, and some 10% inclines, but great exercise if you don’t mind the journey! The view alone makes this worth it.
