"Pictures very misleading, the lake was too abandoned to go near, there is no water park, the restaurant only served breakfast (not lunch and dinner like advertised), no hot springs. I ended up staying in my room all three days. The staff were really nice but I can tell they knew I felt scammed. I’ve contacted Expedia for some type of compensation twice and they said they’d reach back but no answer. Very disappointed. A waste of alot of money."

Roseau

"Firstly, there was absolutely no prior notice that the pool/deck would be closed during our stay - surely on one of the many messages you send, that should have been mentioned. This was very cealrly preplanned so why no communication? The rooms were good, no issues. The food was also good. However, the (already paid for!) taxi to the airport at 4.30am didn't show up. "Ocean Oasis has been my go-to hotel since it opened, and it continues to deliver every time. The staff is exceptional, very warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The location is ideal, the property is new and beautifully maintained, and the views are simply impeccable. The food has also been consistently great. It really is the complete package…great service, beautiful surroundings, excellent food, and a wonderful location all wrapped into one. Always a pleasure staying here."

"If you are planning to travel to Dominica for the best views of the country’s nature. Then this is the resort for you. There are many various type flowers and trees all surrounding the property. Landscapers to pride and maintain them every morning. Have no fear of bugs. I didn’t see any bugs or rodents or mosquitoes during my stay. Rooms were nice with good views all around. Rooms have both 120V and 220V power! The beach was a short walk and even has sites for sea turtles. No complaints on my...
