"Pros: Location and the Pool. Walking distance to Waterbom and other amenities in heart of Kuta. Kids lived the pool and the slides. Rooms were clean and neat. Staff was very friendly Cons : Breakfast was a miss. Coffee machines make really bad coffee, brista coffees are not much better. Kids club is paid activity. Had to pay to hire a swimming floatie for my 6 yr old. Probably would not have felt this way if we didn't moved from a different hotel. "

"Good location, good price, but had construction at pool and next to our room. Rooms and facilities all in need of a refresh, chipped and marked paint, dusty and cobwebs. Definitely not 5 star as didn't have everything a 5 star resort should have. Rooms are good size. All in all because it was cheaper than other resorts I'd stay there again, but would probably pay a little bit more for better resorts in the area."

"The Jakarta is very rundown the only positive is the pool area They advertise it has a gym but it’s not a gym it’s a death trap, no one is game to go in there, it is very dangerous The rooms are all very very rundown Spoke to a lot of people around the pool and they all said that they won’t be back When you bring it to the attention of the staff and managers they say it’s the head office and head office doesn’t care which again is so disappointing. We have inspected other motels in Legian and they are far superior so that is where we will be looking on our return to Bali We have been coming to Bali for 40 years and love it and will be returning but not to Jakarta until it stops just taking the money and not putting something back Kirk"
