Needs some maintenance but great staff

We have stayed at this hotel now and then for about 20 years. The staff are very nice and the hotel and inside the restaurant. The hotel is starting to need some maintenance. There was water coming out from under the bidet which made puddles of water. We stayed there twice this past week and both bidets had rust colored stains in it and the bathroom doors were in sad shape as well. Internet access was not good in either room we stayed in. Not sure we will stay there again.

So so

The hotel is beautiful on the outside and lobby, but my room packed the same charm. The furniture is old, the bed felt old, not comfortable. The worst part: the power went out in my room the evening I arrived. It stayed off just long enough for me to get dressed again, with the intention of going to the front desk to inform them. I got dressed then the lights came back on, figures. The next morning I got ready, then went down for breakfast. When I returned back to the room, the power was out again! I had to pack my bathroom things with the flashlight on my phone. When I went down to inform them, they apologized but no compensation was offered. The best thing: a HOT shower!

Lovely hotel but poor internet

The hotel was clean and comfortable. As far as “service” is concerned, I would say it was pretty much self service. No one offered assistance with our luggage when we arrived, nor when we left. The buffet breakfast area was great and has quite a variety of foods. The most disappointing part of our stay was the poor quality of internet. We had trouble with connecting and staying connected. When mentioning it out check out the person at the front desk said next time we come to mention it again and perhaps they could put a router right in the hotel room. This tells me the management must know there is an issue, and rather than fix it, they try to bandaid the problem only for those who complain.
