"We stayed for 1 night. The room was clean and the air conditioner worked well. It's a little noisy until after 10:30pm because of the restaurant downstairs. It's located near the river so it was nice to walk along the promenade. There is parking nearby for a fee. Breakfast was ok, nothing special."

"The renovation only covered the public areas — the lobby, the bar and the restaurant look great. The rooms are a different story. They are quite worn: old furniture, some of it broken, plumbing that doesn't work properly, poor ventilation, and cleaning could be better.
The staff, though, are willing to help and do what they can to make your stay more comfortable.
Breakfast is very good, and the location is excellent."

"Wonderful location near the old town and across the river from the Abando train terminal. A block away from la Gran Vía. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast superb. I would suggest more adequate lamps with switches that more easily accesible instead of the Ikea type ones in our room."

"Everything was perfect except for the length of our stay. Next time we are in the area, we will make sure to stay at least a full night if not for a few nights. The place was beautiful, great views, a fun 3 par course, and a nice pool (we didn't get to use). To top it off, the Palacio was a short 7 minute drive to the Bilbao airport, making it a no brainer for our trip. To to it all of, the staff was kind and helpful. All in all, I look forward to visiting again if I'm ever in the area."
