This is a well kept but dated property. Room & bathroom clean when we checked in. All rooms has view of the waterfront. There;s an excellent restaurant attached (The Seaside). We had sunset dinner overlooking the ocean! Food was well presented & good portion, price reasonable. Highly recommend.

Our room on the corner did not give us a view of the sunset from the balcony as we had hoped. Room was ok, but the mini fridge was very loud, so we had to unplug it. Looks like it is on the beach, but there is not really any easy access to it. They also take a $200 deposit on the card until you check out, I found that very off-putting.

The property is beautifully situated, but it’s clear that it’s somewhat run down. While the signage is prominent and easy to spot, driving in feels more like entering a large parking lot, with some lanes barricaded off, which creates a less welcoming first impression. We parked across from the lobby entrance near a cabin that appeared to be rented long-term, with personal items on the porch. This added to the overall worn-down feel and made us a bit hesitant at first. That said, the front desk clerk was lovely and very welcoming, which immediately improved our experience. We had no trouble finding our room. Although the rooms are older, they were clean and well-maintained. The view of the water was absolutely gorgeous and a definite highlight of our stay. The king-size bed was comfortable, and the oversized pillows were very full. The room was equipped with useful amenities including a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker with coffee provided. We were pleased to see an EV charging station near our room, but unfortunately, when we checked with the office, we were told it is currently still offline. Overall, despite some cosmetic and maintenance issues, the location is very convenient—just minutes from everything we were doing. I would consider staying here again.

The room was clean, equipped with air conditioning, and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was more than happy to answer any questions about the area. There is a restaurant onsite (we didn't eat there but it was available). Beach was in walkable distance and an onsite gym. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would book again if we were ever in the area.

Overall, disappointing. I chose a pricier place for a wedding visit, and this was a letdown. It was basically a glorified motel. The hairdryer was attached to the wall and very cheap. There was no iron in the room. The bedding is tired, and the bathroom needs to be updated. I could hear guests above and below us. It was basically a glorified motel. For $200 a night in Powell River, I expected more. There is no breakfast on site.

The resort wasn’t what I expected based on the website pictures. The room was lovely, clean and provided what you needed. The outside entry to the rooms is very unwelcoming and doesn’t do justice for the resort. The resort is much smaller than I expected.

Stayed one night at this property and it was fine. Rooms were outdated but comfortable. Bed and pillows were fine. Room could have used a chair and screens on the windows. The view from our second floor room was the star. Skip the restaurant. Other than the view it lacks atmosphere. Wait staff were friendly. Kitchen was unwilling to accommodate a food allergy. Food was ok. Be sure to visit the Salish Distillery on the adjacent property. Their products were great. The tastings were fun with a great charcuterie option.
