"We had a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The room was spacious enough and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location in Ipanema is absolutely perfect. We actually found Ipanema much nicer than Copacabana! The breakfast is extensive and definitely worth it. Make sure to visit GERO as well for a great dining experience. The concierge service works perfectly. Through the concierge, we also arranged a private guide, which turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Rio. His name is Carlos from RioCooltours, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. A personalised tour with Carlos is a must when visiting Rio! The gym is spacious enough and offers plenty of options for a good workout. One small point worth mentioning is that the communal areas, particularly the corridors and elevators, are extremely dark. This may be part of the hotel’s design aesthetic, but we found it a little too dark. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Fasano and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rio!"
