The Golden Well was an excellent first stay in Prague. The team was very responsive before arrival and accommodating throughout. The hotel sits at the end of a narrow cobblestone street, which I thought might be hard to find, but Google Maps made it simple. Breakfast was included and eating it while looking out over the Prague skyline was a highlight of each morning. The staff were excellent and the room was always kept sharp; turndown wasn’t just a chocolate on the pillow, but an actual truffle in an exquisite case. I don’t have a critique to offer. I was travelling alone this time, and I plan to come back with my family and stay at the Golden Well again.

Staff was super friendly , the restaurant was the best part , and the view . The cleaning could be better , as they were lots of mosquitos , could use an improve . Also the pillows seems to be old . But the hotel is amazing and I’m definitely coming back , it wouldn’t hurt an update .

We had the most magical stay at the Golden Well Hotel. From the moment we arrived at reception and sat down with David, we knew we had chosen well. David gave us a warm reception, telling us about the hotel, the city and various tours we could arrange through the hotel, all while serving us complimentary glasses of beer and prosecco. He then arranged for our bags to be brought to our room while he personally escorted us throughout the hotel, showing us the beautiful living room where an assortment of coffees and teas are always available and where they serve a spread of various pastries, fruits and beverages every afternoon, and then showing us the lounge/bar area and the restaurant. Upon arriving in our room, there was a bottle of red wine and macarons awaiting us. Each night, they offered turndown service and brought a little sweet treat for us to enjoy as well. The views from our room were amazing and the bed was very comfortable. The only concern I would share is that I could imagine an elderly or physically impaired person having difficulty getting in and out of the shower since it's a high step into the tub. In terms of location, it is within walking distance of Prague Castle, although it's a steep walk (We took the tram which was cheap and easy to manage - just 3 stops) and walked back. We were also a short walk from Charles Bridge and Old Town.

One of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Everything was impressive—from the warm and efficient check-in to the seamless check-out. The staff was exceptionally professional and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and every detail of the stay reflected a high level of care and quality. We truly felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city.
