"Staff at checkin were inefficient and not particularly friendly, not helpful, from the valets who were not on their game, to the front desk staff, barely helpful. Poor communication skills and lack of friendly greeting. Room was hot, we were told that maintenance would “reset” the unit, we left and returned at bedtime only to find no cool AC.
The second day I made the request, was told about a rooftop or something they would need to do, and we returned to find the room cooler.
Much deferred maintainance. Hotel needs to be updated. Carpet in elevator lobby had wrinkles, a fall hazard. All staff over two days showed zero interest in being hospitable. Bellhop did not hold door behind him when I tried to enter the building. Cars stacked at valet on checkin, easily could move to be helpful but no one wishing to be helpful. Even my husband noticed and commented. Microwave did not work, kitchen in the suite had no supplies, bath towels old and dingy/worn, only two at checkin."
