"The hotel was nice and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was good. Obidos is a quaint, fairy tale town, but it does get extremely crowded in the day. It is quiet in the morning and at night after the tourist buses leave. We needed a base to explore the region, and staying in Obidos was a great solution for us. Parking - I read reviews that parking was hard to find. It was not hard as there is a big lot by the aqueduct right when you enter the town. The hotel went out of...

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Palacete in Aveiro. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the hotel was quaint but luxurious. We appreciated the little extras like the afternoon treats delivered to our room. "

Had a problem with the air circulation in the room and though it was a bit of a struggle to sort it out, in the end i felt it was handled fairly. I think the conversation was a bit 'lost in translation' so the interaction felt accusatory and took a long time. "

"Excellent hotel, great breakfast. Park in their garage for 7 E per night or free on the main street 5 min. away. Not much to see or do in Costs Nova but you are on the ocean and only 12 min away from Central Averio. If you think you can sit on the beach don't count on it; the winds are extremely strong most of the time. Still , it's a great spot to stay and get away from the bustle of the city which has plenty of parking, most of it free. Beds in this hotel are descent."

"A wonderful hotel. Best bed we've had in Portugal. Excellent breakfast. Just a cautionary note: our GPS led us 20 mi . away from the hotel. It is just outside the old city walls of Obidos, so make sure you are close to the town itself. Good street parking."
