There is no continental breakfast as indicated, coffee only in the office in the morning, sketchy neighborhood, rehab looking characters hanging around, most electric outlets did not work in our room, and the furniture is very worn. On the plus side it appeared relatively clean and I slept well.. but wife didn’t due to being uncomfortable with the surroundings."

"I booked on Expedia which advertised a pool.... we drove almost 2 hours from home to have a nice weekend on the river with a hotel pool for my kiddos birthday. We show up and there is no pool. The front desks said that Expedia did not take down the pool in their ad and "they have asked for it to be taken off". I feel this is very misleading and we cancelled for this reason. We received a quick refund but it was 4 hours of driving, upset kids and a big waste of gas for no reason."

"My sister and I booked the Allen House for the 4th of July weekend. We loved the property and the house is absolutely stunning. If you love old historical homes it's a great find. The owners were very kind and helpful and the food was so amazing!! We loved their dog captain and the room was very cozy and cute.
