Not impressed with room condition. Beds were not made had to get another room. Second room had no heat, no towels. Sheets had spots and there was shoe print on one of the bed sheets. The plus was, friendly, courteous staff.

I showed up ! 1st red flag ! Photos on Expedia do not look like the hotel at all !! 2nd red flag walked in and it smelled dirty. 3rd red flag ! She said she couldn’t login to Expedia to figure out my room rate and she needed to charge my card 300 for incidentals most places are 1-200 so that was odd !!! She finally gets my key I go upstairs using elevator that was so old I thought it was not gonna make it to the 3rd floor. Got off elevator to a stinky dirty moldy hallway! With fluids all over it red and more so gross ! Go into room stains all over the sheets. Outdated air unit that didn’t work. All I smelled was mold and then walked over to other bed and it was infested with bed bugs. I was out this was the grossest , dirtiest most disgusting place I have ever been to. Even bears out the bad motel in LA like omg soooo bad ! Photos showed private hot tub and more yea none of that stuff existed so gross !! Don’t stay here !!! Pick any other hotel !! Days In is where we ended up staying was clean and nice !

Heard about renovated rooms…I didn’t get one. I got a room on the third floor. The last room at the end of the hall that looked like it was used for lounging in. No sound on the tv-remote didn’t work, no towels. Pieces of plastic on the floor, gap under the door? Safety lock on door didn’t work either. First impression, I was put in predator room. A room designed so that you would have to call for someone to come to the room, it’s who answers that call is the question. Daytime staff looked trusting and safe, they were pleasant, however evening staff didn’t look so trusting. There was Way too much partying happening on the third floor, people coming and going, quiet time not enforced in this place. The noise finally quieted down at 7am the next morning. I got no sleep. Breakfast was okay. I’m sure when the place is fully renovated all these issues will be taking care of but for now single woman shouldn’t stay at this place unless their bunking with someone. I gave them a 3 star because it is new management, and they’re working towards renovating the place, it’s definitely work in progress. Otherwise they would have gotten 1 star for the lack of safety and security the premises gives off.

We had to check out 5 min after checking in. First a person drunk or high had injured an employee and the employee has blood from his head injury. That guy was detained and police arrived. Other patrons were drunk and thrown out of the bar. The place stunk as soon as you walked in the lobby. The upstairs hallway had carpet torn, halls were in bad shape. Hallway smelled. The room was supposed to be a suite with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub. But the room smelled, was small, no fireplace, tiny tub, and the fire alarm was chirping. We went and got the deposit refunded but said I had to contact Expedia to get the room refunded. Worst hotel I have ever stayed at and definitely not as advertised!!!

The room was incredibly dirty; it was NOT CLEAN. There were burn marks on the sheets & mattress pad, the walls, floors; all surfaces were grimy and unsanitary. I reserved 1 king-size bed and received 2 queen beds. The room looked like someone had just left or was still staying in it! I was accosted by unhoused people on both entering and exiting the property. The whole place is a dive! I had people stopping at my room door. It's very unsafe & had I known, I would have stayed somewhere else!!! If I could give this less than 1 star, I would!!! Save your money & go somewhere!!! I would like my money back... this is by far one of the wrost hotels I've ever stayed at!

This building should not be listed by Expedia as recommendation for staying in Prince Albert. The people we’ve seen at the entrance and on the hallway of South Hill Lodge make us understand that it is used mostly for prostitution services. Sad.
