Onsite restaurant twice for breakfast - first time food and service were great, second time the staff appeared overwhelmed, experienced a long wait and the restaurant was not busy, with less than 1/3 tables occupied. Close to sites, great nearby restaurants. Would recommend and return."

"Marriott Courtyard Downtown Halifax is, as named, in downtown Halifax. It’s in a great location, close to the Citadel and harbor. Good restaurants nearby and you can buy a quick breakfast at the bistro downstairs."

"The rooms were good and spacious - a little dated. No slippers or robes provided. towels are not fluffy. We had a room on the 2nd floor facing the street and the street lights are super bright. Breakfast was adequate and not late enough - weekends till 10am and weekdays till 930am. Should be later. Suite have everything you need. Did not use gym. At least 5 blocks up from the Waterfront area. Lots of restaurants and bars and entertainment around."

"The apartment is modern, spacious, and very clean with lots of closet space and super comfy bed. It was quiet in our unit facing Barrington. The one negative was the lack of a full length mirror especially since we needed to dress for special events. But otherwise great accommodations in an ideal location downtown."

"It was great location, close to a lot good historical features but the hotel is in need of some updating, like working air conditioning, closer inspection while cleaning and maybe an extra pillow left in the rooms as well as a box of Kleenex. The pool and fitness center was great."
