"I truly had a nice experience at hotel. The staff was very friendly and they accommodated with my request for my 1 year old grandson. My room was very spacious and clean. The bathroom was amazing. My grandson enjoyed the big tub. I enjoyed the big shower. We slept very comfortable in the two queen size beds. The refrigerator was excellent for the babies food. We ordered food from Walk On and watched TV until we feel asleep"

"This place is truly a hidden gem. Close to downtown for the restaurants and activities, but in a nice neighborhood. So much here, beautiful rooms and even a big backyard. The comman areas are delightful, and our room was even better. Enjoyed the big soaker tub with the jets."

"The keys needed to be tried on the doors multiple times - a minimum of 5 sometimes over 15! Checking in after 3 pm I was told the room wasn't ready and would have to come back after 4. Came back after 4 with 3 people in front of me checking in and after more than 45 minutes I finally got checked in! Tried to check out a day early at 0800, no one at the desk. Waited over 2 hours to check out. I was told I would still be charged the 3rd day from my reservation even though I checked out a day...

"Was a nice place to stay. The property was set away from the major traffic on a service road, which was a plus for privacy and noise. The front desk was attentive to requests for an extra coffee packet and sugar. Room was clean, bed was clean, shower and facilities were clean. (I have a blood, urine light that exposes unclean surfaces)- a good thing to have when staying at a hotel. If I ever have to stay in Shreveport, LA. again, this will be one I will consider. "This is the first time my father and I have stayed at the Horseshoe Hotel since covid. The property appears to have been well maintained. There have been some changes. No more buffet (sad face). Machines in the casino are much different. But they’re still fun. Our room had a few maintenance issues but they were fixed promptly. Overall, it’s a good property. Safe. And the Friday night band was outstanding."

"We arrived at 1 pm and was told we couldnt check in until 2 even though our room was ready, however if i would pay the guy at the desk $45 i could check in then! Everything was so dirty including the pool woth food floating in it, I have pucs of the pool of u want to see them! Breakfast was horrible, nothing replaces when emptied seemed like the staff ate more then anyone! It was a horrible experience!"
