"Cheap and cheerful no frills budget hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Nice and spacious room, pretty comfortable bed. Shower head stuck to the wall, which is impractical, otherwise a decent bathroom. Good parking, even if it's paid, and decent food options next door. "

"Best place we ever stayed at during this trip. The Manger room was fantastic and a good value. Wayne, the host was very accommodating and had lots of info on the local area. The pub across the street was wonderful as well. Only nit is that the front made noise every time the wind blew. I suggest weatherstripping so it doesnt rattle. Nevertheless it deserves the 10 out of 10 rating it has on Expedia "

"Was over for a wedding at nearby Dodford. Well located and more budget friendly. Despite this, amenities are great. Good pool and gym in separate building, nice lounge. Drinks on the expensive side, but food fair for the standard. Main reason for very favourable review was the staff, who were accommodating, friendly and wanting to please. "I broke down last night and booked this hotel.... Very late arrival after midnight but staff were fantastic, quick check in... Into room and sleep. Explained circumstances in the morning about what's happened and as in on medication they offered me something to eat and drink so i could take my medication. Great staff and very friendly, property is very nice, room was huge, very comfortable bed and shower excellent. Great stay and keep up the good work. "

"Albert on reception was extremely helpful, not just checking me in, but helping get into my room as I couldn't get my key to work not once but on two different occasions, he also sourced a hair dryer for me, which I expected to be in the room considering it was an executive room. The staff were welcoming in the restaurant at dinner and at breakfast"
